From the sadness of the low down blues to the joyful reverie of the ole country gospels I grew up absorbing the sounds and the rhythms of the streets of New Orleans, from the French Quarter to the Lake Shore, from the Irish Channel to the drawing rooms of Garden Districts Mansions.
Music and art were my companions since childhood. I was always encouraged to express myself. If there was something I wanted to say and couldn’t find the words, my mother would hand me pencil and paper. Then she would suggest that I find a quiet place and if I couldn’t write it, try to draw it. Sometimes it would be a song which I would try to whistle or play on my harmonica.

Presented here are four “Love Songs” recorded in Palm Beach Studio a few years ago. It is our intention to present a complete selection in the coming years. Thank you for listening. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we did putting it together.
